We were excited to shoot Boston Consulting Group’s TI build-out in the top three floors of Flower St’s 500 block. Great layout, lots of innovative architectural features, the always amazing Sierra Pacific as GC, and we loved returning to the neighborhood! Having shot Gensler’s HQ next door 5 years ago, it was like a homecoming.
Q: We’ve all used those multi-story parking lots, but how do they get made? A: With a lot of precision hard work! We were brought in to film the ground-up construction of the 2nd largest parking lot on the West Coast and what a fascinating process it was. Topped with a rooftop greenspace and hanging […]
This was a small project that we filmed in Chicago for trampoline park creators Skyzone for use in their franchise sales efforts. Shot on a limited scale to eliminate exposing trade secrets, this short film tells the simple story of transforming an empty warehouse space into a vibrate fun zone. Utilizing our remote internet-connect camera […]
Construction time-lapse of the new offices for retail developer Westfield which were built in the top three floors of the iconic triangular Century Park East office buildings. An ambitious project with a tight timeline which created stunning results. And what a view!
In early 2012 we began experimenting with motion control for our time lapse shots and found it uniquely suited to show off spaces and their relationship to the people who occupy them. We now do architectural “finish” shots for most of our construction films as well as videos for our real estate developers.
Originally we were hired to consult on the time-lapse construction film of this enormous project, but the client’s immediate need to inform the public and their investors of their plan lead us down a different path. Instead we conceived, wrote, and produced this 90 second promo that told the past, present, and future of this […]
A very simple documentation of the installation of a solar facility near Mojave, CA. This project illustrates just how much mileage you can get out of two camera coverage.
Another smaller project that highlights a specific construction technique- Jones Covey wanted us to document the installation of new tanks at an existing CostCo fuel service station. All upgrades had to be completed without a disruption to customers 24×7.
A total rehab of a two story office building in El Segundo. A drab tilt-slab concrete structure was totally re-imagined as a glass-walled, light-filled structure.
Another beautiful renovation on the Westside spearheaded by Industry Partners.
We just completed this two year project documenting the remodel of the old City National Bank “Jewel Box” at 6th and Flower in downtown LA. Designed by Gensler, and built by Inner Space Constructors, this project required cutting a hole in the 3rd floor and suspending a new 2nd floor within the existing structure. A […]
Working with Athalye Consulting Engineering Service and CalTrans, we documented the placement of this concrete freeway span in Orange County, CA. Unique to this project, the bridge was built in place, but elevated above its final position in order to not obstruct Chapman Avenue with the concrete forms. We were on hand for the final […]
Produced for an investment presentation, this video highlights some stellar properties around LA including the 1930’s era Pacific Center in downtown LA. It also is the first application of our new motion control time lapse rig!
Industry Partners’ conversion of a drab tilt-slab office building into a stunning open-air workspace with amazing garden really capitalizes on SoCal’s amazing weather.
With the generous assistance of Dan Kulka of Kiewit Construction and Dan Palmer of SoundBuilt Construction and we were able to get unprecedented access to the jobsite and a unique angle on the demolition shooting directly down the length of the bridge deck. Kiewit now uses our video in their presentations.
